ABOUT ME
Dave Adams is a licensed civil and structural engineer in the state of California and currently works as a Principal Associate at BWE, Inc. in San Diego, California.
Dave’s interest in building design began in junior high school out of an appreciation of the work of Michael Brady (you know … “The Brady Bunch”) and was further developed through drafting classes at Crawford High School. He decided to study Structural Engineering at the University of California in San Diego (UCSD) before continuing on to study architecture. However, Dave really enjoyed the challenges of solving engineering-related problems and decided to abandon hopes of becoming an architect (sorry Mr. Brady).
In addition to his activities with BWE, Inc., Dave continues to teach seminars and webinars with the American Society of Civil Engineers, Vector Solutions, and SE University and also serves as an adjunct professor at UCSD.
